#SkillNotTalent 2014 - 2022 Everyday I'm still learning but I've come a long way since 2014! I've worked hard to improve and I hope to continue down that path! 💖
My character Ashira I drew back in 2010 vs 2022 in my painterly and regular style. I was never talented, I just put in the hard work! #humanartist #SkillNotTalent #improvement

Though I’m not the most talented, I can say I am one of the most determined to improve my art in ways AI will never be able to replicate. Below are what three years difference looks like. Enjoy
@SorenLover_666 I like to look with calm what I draw to improve it even months after the drawing.
OC went from first to second after months. There is plenty of time to improve!
#SkillNotTalent 2016 vs 2022
I used to get super frustrated because I 'wasn't good at art' and was jealous of people with 'talent.' Only in the last 3 years did I start to *really* focus on practicing fundamentals and start seeing a big improvement.
2015 v 2022 still
Tip! Just really get into a fandom and you will eventually improve
2012 vs. 2022. improvement seems horrendously slow but at least it's still there! #SkillNotTalent #HumanArtists
Redraw my old art

I redrew this to make a comparison between my art at 2021 with 2022.

For #SkillNotTalent, I figured I’ll show about a years worth of progress since starting up digitally ^-^ so start of the year versus now! It goes to show that you’ve gotta start somewhere 😂 here’s to more improvements!
2 years into my journey vs present. #SkillNotTalent
The early days are excruciating (they haunt me to this day), but you can improve! Don't quit on yourself! 🧡
Saw some people talkin' about their art improvement over the years and I wanted to show off a little too :3c
200X (middle school lmao) vs 2022
I guess I'll contribute to this tag as well! I've been in an intense art slump for a hot minute but whenever I do manage to draw, it helps to see how much I've improved 💪✨

-and That’s why it would’ve been a golden opportunity for KUBO to write that these two got the chance to improve & grow stronger, with the zero squad!
That’s me IMO!
Forge new blades & not hide their abilities, but still be skilled warriors!

2018 / 2022
drawing feels bad sometimes but seeing improvement makes it all worthwhile
I'm always thinking about that sketch page I did of Cody way back when and I finally decided to do a redraw of one of the sketches just to see how much I improved since then 💙

2020 vs 2022
this was the very first thing I drew on my tablet! decided to redraw it to see how much I've improved/how my style changed
2007-2022
I was just out of art school, afraid to draw men and backgrounds, I didn't know how to color digitally. I had no confidence in myself.
15 years of hard work, practicing and improving, making mistakes, growing as a an artist. It's not a talent thing. #skillnottalent
Ive been drawing since i was 13 years old and let me tell you i only got as good as i am now by constantly drawing
2015/2022
dont stop drawing you will improve trust me
#SkillNotTalent
New illustration! This one is a redraw of some old Phoe art I did back in 2017. A friend of mine said they really liked the original drawing, and I've improved a lot since, so I decided to give it another go. :3
