👉 Made her hair symmetrical to make potential future animation easier
👉 Added 2 scars to her arm and leg! She falls a lot 😅
👉 Darkened her knees and elbows! Dark skin representation 🔥💪

I love painting forest scenes, the process is very soothing, even if they harbor darker things...
This one was illustrated for "Journeys in Shadow" and inspired by my horror finding spider eggsacks in a stack of firewood 😫(childhood stuff)

1. I put the color down and either use a hair-like brush, lighter at highlighted parts and darker at shadows.

neat thing i noticed bc i have stared at the samus renders far too much: the darker blue, textured bits on this new suit vaguely resembles the shape of the fusion suit
it's not 1:1, but there are some elements of it that are kept aND THATS FUCKIN COOL!!!!!
