Picked up Asura’s Wrath again. With its simple gameplay, episodic nature, and heavy focus on dynamic action cinematics, it really does feel like somebody wanted to make an anime but was forced to turn it into a game. (It even has an onsen episode)

The earlier version of Apex where all of the Legends were pilots also falls in line with this. I would have liked a hero-based BR game or gamemode more if it had retained more of the aesthetics and gameplay of Titanfall. I still like Apex, but man...what could have been.

Really enjoyed the gameplay improvements this makes over the base game, makes battles a lot more enjoyable. I really liked Lora, Jin, and Addam but all the other characters were kinda whatever.
