The only comic strip in the 1967 #DoctorWho Annual is Mission for Duh, in which Dr Who lands on the planet Birr and helps the bald Rostrows make friends with the indigenous plant-like Verdants. It's a simple story, typical of the sort of adventures the Doctor has in the annuals.

Both games have Chaos as a background character in the plot, both expand on Shadow's story, and in Sonic Battle, Rouge briefly mistakes Gamma for Omega. The PC version of Sonic Heroes came with cursors made of Sonic Battle sprites, yet also has Big, Omega and the Chaotix.

Another character ref done! Vivi's father, Walter. AKA Mr. Hill. He's a semi-antagonist to the story, he's more of a background villain.

Mr. Hill is dead set on traditions passed down in his family for hundreds of years, to a point where he's a little sexist. A boomer, really.

Nelson likely mixed up 2 different stories: one about Dunstan's clergy problems & one about God turning married priests in Germany into eels.

So it isn't a medieval tale. But it's a fun story, and a useful one in our present moment. /fin
