Since New Super Mario Bros is trending, I'm just gonna say this.

It's not a bad series. Gameplay-wise, they're perfect. They're 2D Mario games, which are genuinely fun.

People's issue is that there isn't much "New" about them. One or 2 special power ups per game & that's it.
