Yay so happy that my shading has improved 💕 https://t.co/WPKFXbMnYa
bruh this website called clipdrop relight can use AI to add shading to your stuff and i tested it out
look how much it POPS of the bg lol
A lot changed, starting with my username XD
but yeah, i tied a more "realistic" way of shading and stuff, trying to make characters more dynamic over the Backgrounds, I still don't master it but I like where I'm going!

I like the recent shading style I have https://t.co/KPuJqeL8zG
I’d say I improved a bit, mostly in shading and colouring. https://t.co/u9NVTJ4bg5
Mainly my shading and colors improved. Still proud of the old piece tho https://t.co/sTVExxYSkT
@BunkoGenki 2020 VS 2022 💕
I think I’ve gotten better at colouring and shading. :)
@BunkoGenki First (2020) Latter Two (2022)
I chose my best artwork from 2020 to give a fair perspective. Two different artworks to weigh how I did cel-shaded then and now with both cel and render shading.
2020 vs 2022 -
I think I definitely improved at giving texture to hair and skin shading, both of which are definitely my favorite!
To me it's not a massive improvement but I can at least look at my newer artwork and like it a lot more without cringing lol https://t.co/dVMjOOUcua
maaaaan this one was a pain, this is a composition of objects that represents a videogame, I chose VA-11 HALL-A to practice shading

Ngl shading/lighting carries all my pics this year https://t.co/BrFVrHLVII
Those glow-slugs are filling that's for sure!
Full shading pic for @ZezuarZ
Same principles apply to different coloring techniques, for this one I had a semi cell-shading style, notice how depth detection works a LOT better with well defined blocks of color. I'd spend more time on the parts where the light doesn't have a big effecting area.
For instance, notice how the light travels as a single line, this is due to the way I evenly distributed the value of the shading as if it were a 2D plane rather than taking into account the vertical displacement of the light. Also, look at those abs wowaweewa indeed.
I for some reason took this as a perfect opportunity to practice some shading lmao https://t.co/gNfftADc5V
