3) Inks. I use a ballpoint pen. I probably should not.

4) Flat markers, medium tone, more is less, let the paper shine through and light it. The E11 marker just shit the bed and blurred the line work. Try not to panic. Panic a lot.

Allan continues to amaze me with just how little direction he requires. For instance, I asked him to make the jar of pickled herring (inks on the left) appear somewhat repulsive and provided a reference photo. As you can see with his colors (right), he nailed it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
