I do use scanlines mostly to hide the natural blurriness associated with non integer scales, but I think I don't need that any more.

I think I found a shader that does the scaling quite nicely. You have to really zoom in on the output to even notice the blurriness of a non integer scale.

If everyone in Kancolle was the same size as the ships they were based on, Yamato and Musashi (who are the same height) would be REALLY tall. Even when you shrink all of the Kancolle girls to a 1/100 scale, most are human sized... except them. They'd be like 8ft 6in or so.
