I am finally finished and i cant believe i made it in time! I tried to learn a few new things with this piece. I didn't use any lines and tried to make the shape language solely with light and shadows. For the Discord Challenge from Ross Draws

@cmkosemen Work of my own all from the same planet of Rehua. Started pretty clearly trying to ape your work but I've grown a much bigger fan of leaning into colour and shape rather than pure artistic realism.

Composition

For the artistic side of things, I used the different shapes of the face to create an organic pattern in the background to bring a sense of being in an imaginary environment where we are witnessing the birth of something.

one of my old oc concepts! the pentaloids are a digital species built from shapes that were somehow brught into the real world. penny and their friend cindy were the first. shape is very skeptical of everything, but cindy softens her up

I made an artist sona, her name is ink, i’m pretty happy with her, she’s a blob of slime that can shapeshift into anything :)

Final cloud study! I just kinda let loose with this one and didn’t follow as exactly as i have with the other two. The shapes are a little rounder in this one but I had a lot more fun with it 😊
