Thread: Käthe Kollwitz (1867-1945) is one of my favourite artists - as for her, art IS emotion. Throughout her life she depicted a series of astonishing self-portraits. She was a master of many artforms. I want to share great artists for #InternationalWomensDay
On #InternationalWomensDay I am dropping a reminder that the greatest war artist of all time, and a trailblazer not just for women, but for the way war was depicted on the canvas, was the incredible Lady Elizabeth Butler. She and her husband were wild and wonderful.
Made a texture pack for terraria that replaces the Wyvern and all items that depict it into a Worm on a String.
Good God there was a lot going on with this one! A gift commission for a client to her boyfriend depicting them in a generic fantasy setting filled with little easter eggs hinting at their shared fandom. Can you spot them all?

Anput is the female counterpart of her husband, Anubis. Her name, Anput, ends in a feminine "t" suffix. She was often depicted as a pregnant or nursing jackal, or as a jackal wielding knives.

The birth of Aphrodite (1887) by Ivan Ajvazovskij (Russia, 1817-1900). Private Collection. Depiction of the birth of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty, by one of great masters of marine art. #Seascape #MythologyMonday
2017 vs Now
I basically didn't change how I've depicted myself at all, it's just that the art got better XD https://t.co/6K8xt8jKIn
The South Korean artist Dae-Hyun Kim depicts the relationship between the couple and the interaction with the universe.

I wanted to draw more danganronpa stuff inspired by @hunterofcomedy's Never Say Never. I kind of want to just draw a bunch of comics depicting the events that happen in this fic.
This ancient map of mine depicts a small lake and a roaring waterfall (and - don't tell anyone this - a secret tunnel)...
What sort of secrets do you think your PCs might find here? 🤔

4. One of Troost's daughters, Sara, often copied her father's work. The drawing that appeared on the art market a few years ago is by her. It also depicts the "drummer boys" at the annual funfair, but is a much calmer scene. And who is there happily drumming along in the center?
“Tropical Dreams” my new painting depicting my love of colour & dolphins. I enjoyed painting this so much that it won’t be the last in this style.

“I was interested in how you experience the body rather than an image of an ideal.” — Joan Semmel
The painter challenged the tradition of the female nude in Night Light from 1978, depicting her cropped and foreshortened body as seen through a camera lens.
well .... remember optimus bayverse, well in the dotm prequel comics written by Barber they depict Optimus as a madman, his relationship with elita started out pretty (they even visit a robot orphanage) but after the death of sentinel, optimus only told her "what a good soldier"
These images keep cracking me up.
They perfectly depict the emotion of speaking to somebody, then saying something that comes out wrong and immediately regretting it.
