“So it became,
the law of universe,
to have the,
profoundest,
of the words,
cloaked in the,
darkest of the masks.”

The page is nearly done! I can start colouring soon! But before that, a suttelly shaded fish! I gave it, like, 5 clipping masks because that saves time -sarcasm- and I'm tots not in a rush. I tried a new colour style, I hate it. I don't use "vibrant" colours.

I also re-skinned the art from the Masks playbooks so that they looked like our Masks characters, then I printed them out and assembled them into staplebound books.

I use a lot of clipping masks in my illustrations and sometimes they look really cool when I toggle them off

It's not unheard of in certain circles to have masks change you, but it's a little odd to change the mask a little too. Guess it's not that easy to hide one's innate shininess...

(Yep, another collab with DeniedArtist on DA~ Always fun, haha~)

I've been playing around with again this week while on discord with my friends. Just a test piece to experiment with different blending modes and clipping masks

Representing the Yup’ik windmaker spirit, Tumaneq, and created in the early 1900s, the four dance masks in this exhibition are together for the first time in more than a century. Now on view in the Art of the North galleries.
