The Senran Kagura Hanzo protags had some pretty interesting prototype designs. Yagyu used to be just as flat and short as Mirai! (Somehow, that doesn't quite seem to be case here though...)

Idea from with a healthy dosage of Yagyu and Mirai applied.

i genuinely enjoyed the development between kiyo and kei relationship and it made me like kei much more. also this volume had some very interesting interactions that make it a great setup for the next arc.

Exactly! When I think of Eero Saarinen I think of the Neo-futurist style of the 1950's. Interestingly, he won a furniture design competition along with Charles Eames for their Tulip Chair which influenced the set design of 2001 Space Odyssey. Definitely Mid-Century Jetsons! 😊
