Quick test, but I think using thicker lines from now on is the way to go. Definitely pops with the flat colors. All it needs is texture.

it is relaxing honestly!! id highly reccomend getting some water-color pencils too if you didnt (basically water soluble colored pencils) since graphite doesn't always play nice with the watercolors. and sure!!! these were all part of college projects :3c
