The One Rose cover design was handcrafted using no stock graphics. The entire design is a blend of textured and clean vector artwork. I wanted to create something eye catching with contrast, impact and intensity.

For graphics tricks, how about this one?
The left is the graphics as laid down in the tileset and on the screen table. The right is how it is presented through scrolling tricks. Besides not having to draw the texture, it saves on tiles because the triangular shape is simpler.
