I like to try and be critical of my character design / species accuracy to help myself improve, and Tobi is far from an accurate representation of an Australian Cattle dog but I’ll be dammed if I don’t love his fat muzzle and big ol nose 💙
This year has been my most active when it comes to finishing illustrations, but looking back at these works all I can see is how much I have to improve.

I love being an artist because I can tell the stories I want to see through my illustrations. As I improve it becomes easier and easier to have an idea (no matter how silly) and see that idea realized in a piece of art.

There are so many reasons why I love being an artist. I love being able to draw my ocs & show them to other people. I love expressing myself with colours & seeing my artstyle improve! And drawing fanart is also fun❤️
