A pierced her smooth foot. She lifted it and studied the pearlescent ridges in the sunlight. Her legs, still wobbly, grew stronger with each step. As she dried, her scales faded into skin. She stared at the ocean. Waves beckoned, but the call of love was stronger.

oh I forgot to talk about this yesterday! but the lighting during this scene was really captivating and something we haven’t really seen in MDZS donghua before. the warm back lighting as JZX’s feelings for JYL are literally brought to light.

"Look at the sky... it's not dark and black and without character. The black is, in fact, deep blue. And over there: lighter blue, and blowing through the blues and blackness... shining, burning, bursting through: the stars! And you see how they roar their light."

"Ah~ Your long, hard, katana is sheathed inside me~"

Yukikaze being lewded. I actually didn't make this a sequel to the other drawing but it ended up that way.

I still don't know how to shade and light.

🌞Luminous light...
From forever,
🤔A hint of trepidation.
A journey of flight...
🌟The eternal,
Poetry into motion.

“Make up a story...For our sake and yours forget your name in the street; tell us what the world has been to you in the dark places and in the light. Don't tell us what to believe, what to fear. Show us belief's wide skirt & the stitch that unravels fear's caul."
