doing a study of "The Conversion of Mary Magdalene" and its actually coming along better than i thought! i'm using this technique that i saw on a vid that gave the tip to start with the darkest colors of the skin then work the light in on top.

As I was feeling a bit of an imposter recently, for the first time I did a concious rework on an old art to see how far I got in 3 years.
Well I guess it wasn't quite a great improvement in technique, but maybe it was a bit of improvement in therms of style?
It was a great study.
