Chiropeon had 3 attempts too. First one just looked like if I gave wings to an eevee but I did like some elements from it still. Second attempt gave it its own expression and shape and more of a "flying type" purple color. Still seemed naked to me tho and I wasn't satisfied.

I've got a lot of affection for the '33 "King Kong." It takes so many pulpy elements & spins it into something glorious.

Most promotional material focuses on Kong's last stand on the Empire State Building (spoiler), but it's fun to see dinosaurs pop up in posters & ephemera.
