...from the Buson Yokai Emaki, a famous picture scroll from the 1750's. A second fruit-headed monster on the scroll is makuwauri no bakemono, also appearing as a samurai with a Japanese melon for a head. Nothing is known about their behaviour or whether they are dangerous.

We reviewed #newtonumEngineRPG last week. This takes place in the 1750's during the #industrialrevolution, much earlier than most #steampunk #ttrpg. Character creation reflects knowldege from the time era. Brought to us by @theblackorifice here on the west coast.
