celebrating because few shows have left such an impact on me as this one. few characters have meant this much to me as korra. as a queer & disabled brown person, i see so much of myself in her as an adult that i didn’t see as a child and i’m so grateful (1/4)

happy anniversary to the loml, korra 💍🧎lol but seriously, can't believe i've spent close to half of my whole life loving her. i always strive to be as confident, caring, and perseverant (+muscular too) as korra. truly a shining example of growth and change.

I remember distinctly becoming overwhelmed with emotion and crying when I saw this scene. I really loved Korra and Asami as characters, so to see them together in the end just filled me with joy.
