It's very easy to get pigeonholed as a creative, especially as a woman in mainstream comics. I proposed doing a short story with Janet that would be very different, something dark and sci-fi. Murder and blood. What fun! Here is that story from 2013:

The original Trot and Cap'n Bill were charming but created over 100 years ago in a very different time. Our Trot is a Vietnamese-American girl in SoCal who loves to surf. Bill is now her grouchy one-eyed talking cat (who also likes to surf!)
