@Bugstung I have no idea why horns are there. When I looked it up the only results were of Native American tribes, which would be a strange thing to implement if your trying to represent the Ainu tribe.
#224 Sitonai
As Ainu tradition is almost entirely oral it was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a source for Sitonai. We eventually found it on a blog dedicated to baseball. Sitonai is a version of the clever girl dragon slayer, who uses planning and wits to defeat her would-be killer.
I took inspiration from the Ainu people’s traditional attire (which is what inspired the Diamond/Pearl Clans) for their wedding robes! ☺️
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMAGI HIIRO, MY AINU SUNSHINE, MY EVERYTHING, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! 💘💘💘

The Akkorokamui is an octopus-like monster from Ainu folklore. While she is often presented as a benevolent kami with powers to heal and bestow knowledge, she is fickle and has the propensity to do harm. It is nearly impossible to escape her grasp without permission. #midjourney https://t.co/MoGQ85idzW
Realized I never posted this on here. I finalized more of my take on Akari’s redesign with more Ainu influences☺️
