@Riamus01 @Coolio_Art Here's also a very different take in a 1988 book (Dinosaurs and How They Lived) illustration of an Allosaurus.
Hear me out
The Valley of Gwangi remake, but it's a western survival thriller with similar tones to The Revenant. Like some frontiersmen or fur trappers encounter and are hunted by something they wouldn't even recognize as a dinosaur yet is a relatively accurate Allosaurus.
Today's dinosaur, a very sleepy allosaurus. (also he has quills for some reason, but meh) #dinovember2022 #dinosaur #allosaurus #digitalart
2 more for the dino crew, this is Suzie the deinonychus and Isaac the allosaurus. Suzie plays in a band and Isaac is a mechanics apprentice. #furryoc #anthroart #dinosauroc #furryart
Godzillasaurus mixed media sketch on toned paper. It originally was going to be an Allosaurus.
I turned Gugu from To Your Eternity into an Allosaurus. I decided to take some inspiration from the broken jaw Allosaurus story from that on Dinosaur documentary since it worked well with the story of Gugu where both were permanently damaged in the face at a young age p1

Here is a Jurassic World dinosaur study: The Allosaurus. (7/12) #allosaurus #JurassicWorld #JurassicPark
@Cordelia_Lovely I don’t care if its classification is dubious, Saurophaganax is just too fun of a word to say! It means “lord of the lizard-eaters” and it was very similar to the more popular Allosaurus. These 40-foot-long apex predators are estimated to have run at over 30 mph!
Comic-book style Allosaurus doodle. The blues and yellows might have been subconsciously inspired by the JW Allosaurus.
This is a vertebra from the tail of an Allosaurus. It was punctured, pretty severely, by the tail spike of a Stegosaurus.
This one fossil shows an interaction 150 million years ago! The Allosaurus walked away from the fight, injured, but the bone healed.

@ConfusedKain @TyTheSaber I made one, too!
And good call on the Allosaurus. ❤
For today #FossilFriday I'm particularly excited to present you two stunning specimen of one of my absolute favourite dino: Allosaurus. In photo 1-2 we have A. jimmadseni, while in 3-4 A. fragilis.
The key to tell apart one specimen from the other is the shape of the jugal.
Anatomy study of possibly one of the most famous dinosaurs: #Allosaurus.
Throwback Thursday to the time in 2014 when I drew the infamous Papo Allosaurus.
So, according to my dream Logic, this guy here is an Allosaurus.
