With the more detailed sketch, I personally tend to keep my cats quite angular, mostly made up of triangles and squares

Whereas with ponies, rounder shapes and edges are used for a more bouncy, less fluffy shape

Gotta get this off my chest

I absolutely can't stand seeing classic comic styled Spider-Man with the Raimi spider logo on the chest. Its large, sharp, angular, and complex, and feels really out of place on a less intricate suit design.

I rly try to add little variation to my chars' hands to give them that extra touch - Keelio has broader palms + fingers, Redwing's are slightly angular, Bijo's are thin + long - and ik it's like ~𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐥𝐲~ noticeable at all but it's something I'm kinda attempting lately

(the chin turned out wired,cause at first it was triangular, but then I wanted to make it round, and it turned out to something middle, but I even like it)

Here is a great example of CONTRAST. We see the round eye vs the angular, compressed furious eye...and the emotion in the brows too. Really impressed with the animation and I was BLOWN away by EVERYTHING in episode 3. Holy cow!
