So I'm personally settling on it being a Mode if not a certified Mode Change.

The closest allegory | think, weirdly, is Dukemon Crimson Mode. Both Apollomon and Dukemon are Mega level & achieve their "Mode" via assimilating a digital lifeform (not another Digimon, item etc)

I don’t know if you put too much thought or if you even want to do a fusion line with Coronamon, but Liollmon might be a good fusion partner for him. HeavyLeomon’s head even looks like Apollomon’s.

Apollomon is nice, it heavily leans into Apollo as a sun god. Would be nice to see an alt form where the things on it's back transform into a sun lyre for an art/music god.

I want to see full original evo lines for all the Olympos XII like Jupitermon, Dianamon & Apollomon have. The established Plutomon line is fine too. I don't think pre-existing lines should be uses for the rest because they all deserve equal love finally & they don't fit as well.
