Our kids had an amazing day at the Kiwanis Art Showcase today! Out of 140 pieces we won 1st & 2nd place for 8th grade, 2nd place for 7th grade, and 1st place for 6th grade! Our 1st place winners will now advance to the state competition!

7th grade did an amazing job on their ribbon drawings! Goal: to show smooth transitions in value from dark to light and back while considering the overlapping and twisting of their ribbon design.

3 of my kids were chosen to have their artwork published in the 2023 WaterSmart WaterArt calendar! They created artwork & an artist statement illustrating & explaining the importance of water. So proud of my kids!
