In this week's Beano, Bananaman works for the Mayor.
Bananaman tries to be good and do what he's told, but things don't feel right.
Bananaman finds out that a grown up saying they're good doesn't make them good.
...In this weeks Beano, as well as making an appearance in Dennis, Ellis the Elephant shows up on the back page in Zane the Zookeeper
Here I use the same, elephant hiding behind a lamp post gag that I'd used in Dennis, & I'm fine with that!

Those inside split into groups...
If my time, script writing for the Beano, has taught me anything, it's that kids love oblique references to late 80s Doctor Who.

In this weeks Beano, Dennis has built a crazy golf course in the back garden.

Something I threw together for @ComicCreatives first art jam theme: British comic book icons.
I probably could’ve drawn a better fitting character for the theme, like someone from 2000AD or the Beano, but STC was a staple of the 90s and one of my earliest exposures to comics.
Ace from Space in 1955 was not only the last text story in The Beano, but also had illustrations by Leo Baxendale:
Here's a close-up of the Librarian Yeti I drew in this week's Beano, so you can see some of my "hilarious" gags.
My lil beano, Cherry! #Undertale #AU #UndertaleAu #Smol #Cherry #Sans #SansAu
Back in the strange, half-remembered olden times when we sat near one another & met other people, on 4 May 2016, Art imitated Life imitating Art in the BEANO, as Dennis met writer @spleenal, me & colourist @nikanartova .
Meanwhile, 2020, this week's BEANO is on sale now!
Really sad to hear of the passing of comedy legend Tim Brooke-Taylor. It wasn't so long ago that I wrote a little homage to The Goodies in the Beano, so here it is again as a tribute to Timbo. Drawn by the amazing Laura Howell.
Lovely episode of Pansy Potter from the 1952 Easter issue of The Beano, with a couple of closeups 😀😀
The fabulous Marc Jackson is joining us at #LICAF2019 in Kendal this October! @marcmakescomics is a UK cartoonist who has created comics & a host of quirky, fun characters for BEANO, Aces Weekly, Comic Heroes Mag, Red-Hook star revue, Caffeine mag & more https://t.co/laTeBnHvL5
Also in this week's Beano, Minnie the Minx is the CHALK of the town, while Tricky Dicky gives the performance of his life! Scripts by me, art by @VictorianClam and @RiRoDoodles!
One of my fave Minnie the Minx stories in this week's Beano, as she plays D&D! Meanwhile, the Bash Street Kids fix the school field, Tricky Dicky bests a bully and Tim Traveller goes retro! Scripts by me, art by @victorianclam, David Sutherland, @rirodoodles and The Sharp Bros.
