An English "Boggart" is a type of Hobgoblin.
Boggarts are mischievous and items may disappear or turn bad such as milk sours, the dog becomes lame or children disappear.

Oberon declared himself Emperor of the Household & Trismegistus--thrice greatest--for he ruled over Faeries, Sprites, & Boggarts alike.

50 years after the Master had gone, however, the Pipes in the Basement were swarmed by littlings from the Farbeyond: the Sluagh had arrived.

It's common sense to avoid openly disrespecting the Master in front of Boggarts.

Their contract with the Hearth allows Boggarts to grow to twice their size for short periods ("going Juggernaut"), but they cannot withdraw from a commitment after they’ve given their word.

i've always seen fairies as aliens in the sense that they're outsiders from a different plane

most fairies have insect wings but that's mostly seelie court fairies

unseelie court fairies can be all over the place, like boggarts

Known by many names across many cultures, brownies are generally considered genial, helpful beings that attend to household chores for humans. They are dualistic in that if offended they turn into vicious, poltergeist-like boggarts.

May I also offer you some goblins/boggarts from MtG's Lorwyn in these trying times?

This October half term help the Druids of Droylsden as they try to keep the boggarts at bay for another year!

Find the 8 missing pages of the Big Boggart Book of rituals around Droylsden town centre and come to an event at the library.

A lil duo of Norstrosian Boggarts; guerrilla soldiers who specialize in damp, toxic, and muddy environments.

Leave out milk, bread, and honey and you'll have less housework to do: the brownie is a Scottish spirit that at night will tidy up the home a bit if given offerings. If ignored or offended, they become boggarts, so be kind.

Blackburn 1869 - local man George Hindle is held accused of breaking windows in the Union Buildings, but as they kept on being broken whilst he was in jail it was said it could only be the work of boggarts & the court had no choice but to pronounce this as so!

Boggarts are the protective spirits of specific locations, such as rivers, hills, or coastal areas. Whereas domestic boggarts sour milk and steal bedsheets, wild boggarts have been known to abduct children and drown strangers. They are are related to Irish púca.

“‘I did think of Voldemort first,’ said Harry honestly. ‘But then I-I remembered those Dementors.’
‘I see,’ said Lupin thoughtfully. ‘Well, well… I’m impressed.’”

Boggarts: malevolent form of Fae from the English East Midlands said to inhabit houses and sheds where they sour milk and render animals barren. More often they live in geographical features like hills, dales or quarries, often encoutnered on rambles

Kobolds in D&D are scaly dragon puppies.
In mythology they are furry tiny humanoids. They live on farms & can benefit or hurt it, they also work in the mines. Akin to Goblins, Hobs, Brownies, Leprechauns, Tomte, Gnomes, Boggarts, & all other wee folk. YMMV

Currently trying to figure out the look for Dünnmere's boggarts! They're gonna be a race similar to goblins. Sneaky, cunning and malevolent little fellas.
Which of these are your favourites?

"'Oh, bravo!' cried Professor Tofty, who was examining Harry again, when Harry demonstrated a perfect Boggart banishing spell.
'Very good indeed! Well, I think that's all, Potter ... unless ...'

"On the north end of Esthwaite Water was a shape-shifting spirit that appeared in a number of forms – a man in light blue, a white fox, a white calf, or a curious cow-donkey hybrid". My article on Boggarts
