3.Luo Ji 螺髻
Luo Ji was originally a Buddhist hair bun, but later people began to imitate the characteristics of this hairstyle.
Because the shape is similar to a conch shell, so it was named Luo Ji.
Luo Ji can be divided into single Luo Ji 单螺髻 and double Luo Ji 双螺髻.
Daikokuten: The Japanese deity of fortune and wealth. Daikokuten originated from Mahākāla (buddhist version of the Hindu deity Shiva).

#340 Daikokuten’s Attendants
Originating from the Buddhist version of Shiva & conflated with the Shinto god Okuninushi, Daikokuten is a god of fortune & wealth.
His mice come from being associated with the northern direction, which corresponds to the Rat in the Chinese Zodiac.
#midjourney Benzaiten, the Buddhist patron goddess of literature and music, of wealth, and of femininity

Someone asked me about the pose/words Goku is using here “namu amida butsu” so I thought I would post what it actually means here but it’s essentially a Buddhist prayer. Grandpa Gohan imprinted Goku with a Buddha Nature, because the entire idea of Buddhism is taming the monkey… https://t.co/x5W5efgeNE

But forgiveness, he intimates, is not enough — we must urgently amend our actions and recover our respect for other living beings, which demands nothing less than a transformation of the human heart and a radical unselfing. Leaning on the Buddhist precepts,The Dalai Lama writes:
->sign of strength & ferocity. Idea being a warrior-deity should be intimidating, fighting monsters in the language of monsters.
Thus you get guys like Zhong Kui or the Wrathful Deities of Chinese & Buddhist art, continued in modern Grotesque Heroes of Kamen Rider & Devilman etc
