‘Top down’ I meant 80’s cocktail eg Taito Space Invaders (but Capcom).
With Ghouls and Ghosts (1985) and Ghosts and Goblins (1988) it’s possible I was just drunk and only saw ghouls, ghosts and goblins hanging around my local. Probably the booze talking. Rest easy 😊

Commando is a shoot 'em up game developed and released in 1985 by Elite (original arcade game by Data East owned the rights for the US release.

The Ron Hubbard music is what most remember from this game; it was written and delivered to Elite in less than 12 hours!
