Snow?
No.
Got some rain,
Cloudy skies,
chilled again.
I guess no harm,
no present danger,
still this winter's
like a stranger.

April climbs
along a giraffe neck

past patterns of brown
up

then blinks wide-eyed
at puddles of green

Paint or prance,
dance and sing,
let your laughter
ring, ring, ring!
The gloomy gray
will soon depart
with your rainbow-ed,
happy heart.

Snow falls.
Winter
tiptoes across the valley.
I stifle a giggle-full of memories:
sleigh rides,
night ice skating,
snowball fights,
knowing full well
there'll be shoveling this season.

When summer’s hot
I dream of snow,
Of sleds and skates
And icy glow.

But now that winter blows his chill
‘Don’t think I’ve had my summer fill!

autumn raindrops
fritter summer.
Polish leaves
in golden-yellow,
shrouding summer's
friendly mellow.

The Witches’ Broomstick Race by

Gather all ye witches,
At the rock in the misty place,
It’s time for the Hags 100,
The October broomstick race.

Ever cheered on witches in a broomstick race?
