Designing NPCs for and touching up some artwork this week.

A while back, I noticed that I only had a couple male conjurers that weren't top-tier badasses with fully-morphed crytures.

Enter Kade, a simple farmhand who had a gift for conjuring.

I'm actually pretty pleased with this design. I think I nailed the intention to make him look… https://t.co/LyYwG9rau1

I think I'm about done with the script for my next lore video, all about crytures, conjurers, and the relationship between them :)

Might wait a bit to record it though, as there's some art I'd like to include that's not yet finished.

Between last night's stream, and the chat I had with for his podcast, I spent about 4 hours just talking about Crytures, world building, and game design last night.

I'm sending out the first mid-month art dump to my mailing list later today!

I plan on doing both a newsletter, and an art dump each month, so if you'd like to get regular info about how is progressing, just sign up for the mailing list here: https://t.co/JfF4vi78ZM

Leilani and Konane, introducing the new worm crytures :D

A sketch that I took too far, and now I don't know what to do with it...

I've been putting this one off for a long time, but here's a cryture binding in action, finally!

Check out the wiki if you want to learn more!

Glarva, Ignalis and Magmant!

These Earth/Fire crytures are on the low end of the power scale with guys like Noctulus and Gumbo, but they are some of the easiest to morph. They'll be a staple of subterranean adventures around Rootrun :)

From the stream - Solstalk is the second form of Kriebean, used by experienced members of the Viridian Order.

Kriebean is the smolest of the Verdant King's minions, and an important companion for every initiate of the Viridian Order.

Unlike the vampire squids, these guys will actually be in the first setting guide :D

Next order of business: Make a list of things I need to finish for the first set of Crytures books. Then finish them.

I've been getting off-track with all these extra world building things recently, and much of them probably won't make it into the first books anyway.

A lazy little flowering lizard, from my tabletop RPG, Crytures. You can see all the details for this guy over on the Crytures wiki, here: https://t.co/5ZMl7Vet4c

Here's one of the "starter" lines of - Flowzie, Theropetal, and Sauribloom!

These guys are versatile fighters that can deal good damage, both at range and in melee. They also have enough health to take some extra hits, and self-healing to keep them in the fight longer.

Here's another character design I drew up for this week! I think I'll be calling her Stella. Can you guess what kind of crytures she likes to use?
