Cuckmere Haven studies currently exhibited with #saltedgearts at Gallery207, Lewes, open today at 10am
Silver Horizon, Seven Sisters, a large framed watercolour heading to the #CelebrateCuckmere exhibition on 3rd September for @CuckmereSOS
Another view of #cuckmerehaven coastguard cottages is heading to the next @chalkgallery exhibition, on Monday. I love the silver horizon and heavy clouds when rain is threatening. Mixed media illustrates the feeling of walking down to the sea with the salty wind in my hair
Two larger mixed media paintings of the river Cuckmere and the Seven Sisters, are now up on the wall in @chalkgallery
These have been worked up from my postcard sketches from my walks there
Chalk Gallery in Lewes is open Thursday to Sunday 11-4pm

Ten of the BRotS series have now gone to private collections, 4 canvases and 6 of the works on paper. Of these 'Chocolate Teapot' is still with the Cuckmere SOS charity - worth bidding on by contacting them if you want it, as they are still deciding what to do with it
The show is called 'Celebrate Cuckmere' and is to raise fund for the sea defences which the Environment Agency has decided are not worth keeping - https://t.co/cUkWFtVwm5
Chocolate Teapot (see https://t.co/W0SpjWOOQf) chocolate fireguard are both expressions of something that looks the part but melts when in contact with reality-e.g. Cuckmere Sea Defences. See many view of the Cuckmere in the South Barn exhibition series now thru' 23 September.

Did I mention this was part of the new Ravilious postcard collection? No? How remiss of me.
