I love that 's pokemon reviews are back and like a lot of people have pointed out that Meowscarada is Doronjo, but I think Bog might be the first anglophone to point out the yatterwan/skeledirge and Quagqaval/gan-chan connections, and I just had to share it.

Marina's inspo was Beyonce's Superbowl outfit crossed with the classic Doronjo villain fit. I gave her a Daft Punk visor since it fits her electronic music style and also I don't have to figure out how to put an eye mask on top of her existing eye mask.

Giving Eggman a daughter is fine. Dont know how that will be integrated going forward. My only assumption is she will be teamed up with Orbot and Cubot and turn into some Doronjo/Devilotte type gang that harasses sonic and friends which would be great if executed right.

It is the 60th anniversary of Tatsunoko Productions. The company behind classic animes like Gatchman, Tekkaman, and Hurricane Polymar. Personally, my favorite Tatsunoko character is Doronjo from Yatterman. Congrats on 60yrs of great anime, and I'm looking forward to next 60.
