My Hisuian Samurott is named after this guy who had a Samurott on Pokémon Conquest, who is inspired by a real daimyō, named Chōsokabe Motochika.
one of his nicknames was "Little Demon" so I thought it was fitting with the dark type.

What better sweet for 'Tabi-no-hi' than Mikuraya's (御倉屋 ) 'tabiyakko' (旅奴). The name means 'to accompany on a trip', referring to the long line of attendants that would accompany daimyō to and from Edo.

Pride Month Day 10: today I did a quick (and bad) doodle of the Japanese daimyō, Uesugi Kenshin (1530-1578) - a possible "transgender" samurai. I debated if he even belongs on this list as a "queer" historical figure, but ended up featuring him mainly because I think he's cool.
