I also thought that. Being mono-dragon was neat, but also it's purple and it would have been a nice🖕to fairy. Guess they didn't want to step on Dragalge's nonexistent toes. Even dragon/fairy would have been cool to hype up the new type like with Tyranitar in Gen 2.

There's a podcast I listen to where they use Dragalge as an example of a "nothing" Pokemon but I love it. Also a fan of Crawdaunt and Druddigon but idk if they're unpopular
