Two drekir of the Sawteeth tribes engaging in a diplomatic dance known as "Trapper"
It's a straightforward don't drop me game. The drekir put their weight and heads on the other drek darting backwards and forwards, trying not to let the other slip and bust their snout on the dirt

Continuing work on the website for the dragonscape lore! Here is a link for that. It's still a BIG wip though so expect a lot of empty pages.

This is a page banner for all the mainline drekir breeds not including subspecies

Drekir are an r-selective polygnandrous species so they crank out a lot of eggs over a year (5-7 individually on average). Pregnancy usually only lasts about 14-17 days and isn't typically restrictive on the female outside of extreme physical exertion so it's not a big deal

"I mean I'll admit those old Power Plugs the old drekir say are good for harnessing lightning do look good on your neck but you are like 3 drops of soup and a stain away from me kicking your tail off of this mat"

The Ashweaver is a small obelisk that produces ash.

The drekir of the Seattlan tribes use it as a part of their peacemaking rituals against other seattlan tribes. The shaman dances and later stomps on the ashes as a metaphor, stomping on the ashes of war to make way for peace

A doodle to answer a request from the DragonScape discord
The drekir of appalachia, known as the preacher tribals worship god but also worship 12 lesser angels known as "light hollers".
They often repurpose dead trees in the forest to serve as simple shrines and idols to them.

Some drekir digging worms from the ground. For your typical hunter-gatherer red meat is a rare treat so to make up for that deficit in the diet bugs are commonly gathered and eaten. It does help that insects and bugs in the dragonscape are much larger, such as these earthworms.

A Blaclaw shaman playing their nasal overtone flute, known as a "wils" to dispel sick spirits from the area. Sometimes they play a one stringed instrument called a "banjer".

Most drekir flutes are nasal as drekir do not exhale strongly through the mouth but can with the nostrils

The Sivilāo, having had a 3000 year headstart against the drekir, ar far more organized civilizations with many sporting their own navies.

these warships, known as Turafalmor (Vessel of Battles) function much like triremes, ram and board tactics being the norm of naval warfare

A dakoner nomad in some relatively common attire for the pastoralist drekir.
Wool woven from the wyrms fibers is their trademark skill, being master weavers on the move.
They believe the skulls of their wyrms allow god to see through their eyes, wearing one proves their faith
