@Zhane_Star to him, eggman losing his memories and becoming mr tinker doesn’t make him redeemable for being a terrorist. and sonic had to get through to shadow to argue that he’s basically in the same boat bc of him being eggman’s accomplice during SA2.
second, there’s a really clever scene where rouge delivers an anonymous tip to the chaotix on eggman’s whereabouts and (knowing the nature of both sonic and shadow) uses the chaotix to conduct a thorough investigation for her while using the two hedgehogs as lawyer + prosecutor.
My Sonic!Eggboss AU where she works for Eggman, with her favourite Motobug Chirrup. She does eventually move away from Eggman’s forces but during her time with the guy they had an odd relationship where she would “switch sides” if his plans pushed against her morals
I also love the idea of Eggman’s army compromising of other minions rather then just robots. Definitely gives a sense of how big of an army he has. Btw Archie Eggman was WAAY more evil then his game counterpart.

I have a proposal/compromise to make when it comes to Eggman’s eyes.
When he’s in “normal mode” his eyes are blue/black dots, but when he’s in his “angry/threatening mode” his eyes suddenly become black and red like in old Western media.
It’s like the Coachman from Pinocchio.
For some reason, in the first two Sonic Riders games Eggman’s in race voice clips are a combination of recycled Deem Bristow lines from Sonic Adventure 2 and newly recorded lines from Mike Pollock.

But I’m not gonna be sad. Because the story we got with Starline? It was amazing. From being Eggman’s side-kick, to him becoming his own man, his rise to power and sudden fall. His story was amazing, and his legacy will be felt in the comics.
