new vs old design comparisons, I've always wanted to add white to Nightcloud's design because of her names suffix, but it took me till this design round to get markings I was happy with

I suppose your OC name was simply "Hero codename" than be a Navi to begin with. But that make sense, too. Some navi aren't have the suffix, like Forte.

Hmm..only one missing feature is his navi crest---so it stayed as Pokeball like that.
