So since we're gonna get a season 2 for Panty & Stocking, I wanna talk about the Original Soundtrack which is, in my opinion, on par with FLCL's soundtrack done by the pillows. Though instead of alternative rock, you get this energetic dance electronic shit that fits the show-

probably a stupid question, but given that both things were animated by Gainax and the Buster Machines in Diebuster just pop into being out of nowhere, do you think that means FLCL's N.O. channels exist in Gunbuster continuity

Just on an visual level Alternative gets FLCL's muted sepia tinged water colour palette, Progressive often missed the mark and features some down right ugly computer coloured backgrounds at times.

FLCL Original Soundtrack NO.3 — the pillows

FLCL was my intro to the pillows. I don't think it'd be an exaggeration to say they're one of the greatest Japanese rock bands ever & a big factor of why FLCL's still relevant. NO.3 is all (most) of the pillows tracks used in the show.
