today is Let’s be honest, most of my costumes skew that direction anyway—but it gives me a chance to dig out some older goodies, like Rumplestiltskin from Once Upon A Time! This costume was an adventure in eyelets. Eyelets forever.

we made the decision a while ago that the last day of con is for comfort, thus, its KIGU DAY! so far we have bat, hellhound, stormy, & pusheen kigus. I made the hellhound & stormy kigus with plan to make more (perhaps make some for others 🤔)

today is I love doing the Jotun makeup, but it’s very time consuming so it’s usually only for a location shoot like this, not a con day. I use liquid latex for the ridges, and Mehron FX paint for the blue, with some additional eyeshadow for contouring.

She’s actually a subtle ivory in person—a satin underdress with a soft lace overlay, all hand-beaded with about 15,000 sparkly bugle beads! And I still haven’t beaded the cape... 😂

I like to include little details on our costumes and one we added was the tread on Lie Ren's shoe has his lotus symbol. so when we are in snow or soft dirt he leaves a trail of little lotuses behind him.
