I included the ones that had the most impact on me as a child and what has had a similar impact in classes I've taught. Almost included 'Johnny and the Bomb'.

I could have chosen so many picture books, but went with one of my favourites from when I was a kid and a newish one I love that gets big laughs. Nevermoor is probably my favourite from the last few years and Pippi forever.

Picture books could have been any thing based on my mood.
But I think the chapter books are 2 that I will regularly but in my top 3

These are my own childhood faves. Many Ahlberg books are staples with my own children. DHM was first novel I remember being read to me at school and I was hooked! 🙂
