More #paleostream drawings! Foreyia and Heliosus respectively.
I followed the coelacanth ref a bit too closely on Foreyia, so the tail's a bit wonky.

Another sarcopterygian for day 2 of #FossilFishWeek! Here we have the lumpy, I mean lovely, Foreyia from the Triassic of Switzerland. This fintastic fossil highlights how a few slight changes to even just one gene may lead to a cascade of unique morphologic features!
Tonight I played around with an older illustration that never got published anywhere, for some reason. Foreyia was a Middle Triassic coelacanth with a particularly weird body shape. More closely related to us than to most fish.
Foreyia: a coelacanth so spectacular that everyone imagines it colorful
Work + other things have kind of delayed my #dinovember entries, but here are a few for days 13-15 (I'll return to 12, maybe):
Hide (Oryctodromeus), and the two non-dinosaurs that I've been wanting to draw, Fuzz (Pterorhynchus), and Fish (Foreyia)!
