Are these illustrations from Frindleswylde by Lauren O'Hara not superbly magical?
Good night, dear magical Twitter folk. Tonight I will leave you with this magical illustration by Lauren O'Hara from the book Frindleswylde, written by Natalia O'Hara.
Cora’s Granny, from Frindleswylde. We based her on our babička, who was known to water fading rosebushes with a little chicken soup.
#BookIllustrationOfTheDay is by the @oharasisters for “Frindleswylde” (2021), continues my Wintry theme, with this sweeping, exquisite new fairy tale, with charmingly drawn and imagined characters and scenes. A hauntingly perfect read in the colder months of the year.
#BookRec: 5/5 ✨
Frindleswylde is an atmospheric, beautiful, lushes fairy tale. (Perfect to snuggle up on a cold winter's day with a sweet cup of tea & a mince pie.) It's the kind of story that would have gotten under my bones as a child - re-reading nightly. @oharasisters

An early rough for the cover of our new book FRINDLESWYLDE with @walkerbooksuk out this coming November. It’s always funny looking back at the process and seeing how things developed. This one didn’t change a ton!
