I get that they wanted the two guys who were finding their "paths" to help Sora out, but I think Biyomon got robbed of an emotional moment of trying to save Sora. Yeah, it would've mirrored Gabumon's a bit, but give Biyomon something to work with!

I liked Gabumon's more emotional and steadfast loyal side. He gives Matt his space to find himself but whenever Matt falls too far, Gabumon is the one who brings him back. Moreover, I like how wise, supportive, encouraging Gabumon can be.
