Cuando dije que quería empezar Gundam unos amigos me recomendaron además GUNBUSTER, una OVA de solo 6 capítulos creada por Gainax en 1988.
Y viendo que son solo 6 capitulos me los vi entre hoy y ayer, y la verdad no me arrepiento.

@AntonioDMetro Some of the good starting points would be OVAs like Gundam 8th MS Team, Gunbuster, Mazinkaiser and the Getter Robo OVAs which are short but very enjoyable.
Other good recommendations are series like Big O, GaoGaiGar, SSSS.Gridman, Dynazenon, Gurren Lagann & Code Geass.
