the fifth animal for the - the Western Black Rhino, declared extinct as recently as 2006 due to overhunting (largely poaching). this is just one of several species driven to extinction in this manner, and remaining species are still under great threat.

she's finished! honestly the hardest part of these illustrations is designing the fancy carousel trappings - i think mine might lean a little more towards the realistic side than what you see on a lot of carousels...
