Headlander ($3.99) - a 70s sci-fi styled metroidvania where the gimmick is that you not only can pop off your head to navigate through areas, but use it to take over different robot bodies as you work to defeat basically an evil pleasuredome AI.

Each area of Headlander had its own palette and shape language. During production, I put together these mood boards for Luna Citadel using concepts from @DerekLBrand and @LeviRyken
3 years ago today we shipped Headlander. It was a great, small team and many of them still work at Double Fine. One of my favorite things was the soundtrack by @sflogicninja & we even made a double vinyl!
