The Icelandic horse is a small breed originating from Iceland that displays two unique gaits: the tölt and the flying pace. They are mentioned throughout Iceland's historical records as far back as the 9th century, and nowadays there are over 400,000 horses registered globally.
Today's update on the Daily Sceptic is here. A study finds no impact on Covid infections from mask-wearing and an increase in deaths; Iceland's stillbirths double in 2021; and the ONS says climate change saves 500,000 lives, but not a word from the press. https://t.co/AhJJa4MhVl

Iceland's Jólakötturinn (the Yule Cat) is a giant cat that is said to eat you if you don't get any new clothes by Christmas.
It's about punishing slow wool-work, but I like to imagine that Yule Cat is benevolent to those who can't make new warm clothes.
Beware the Jolakotturinn (Yule Cat). I live in Iceland's frosty clime. I eat those who do not buy new clothes during Yuletide, purchase socks or be devoured. In the summer I frequent Florida's beaches.
