Catching up on Helltober continues with Day 6 and Day 7 paired together which was "fallen from Grace" and "Risen from Sin" c: So imagined a fully corrupted Imperius from and an angelic Rakanoth!

Imperius Rex a word Stan Lee made up, it doesn't mean anything, but if you take the words base "imperium" means absolute power and "rex" means king, so like a battle cry for "power and king"?
Bill Everett who created Namor never gave him that catchphrase, it was added on later. https://t.co/U1tcrAFBmK

Namor was the not first to actually speak "Imperius Rex!", when it was finally spoken on page it was used by Lord Vashti in issue then Namor, then Lady Dorma. Since then it's been Namor's catchphrase.

Imperius is a word Stan Lee made up. It's close to Imperious or Imperium which have different definitions. Rex means King in Latin. Sometimes in the 90s writers misspelled Imperius as Imperious but the O was never there in the og spelling. first appearing in Tales to Astonish https://t.co/F63s19uQyd
